At Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, patient quality drives everything we do. In 2010, we completed a major expansion which now allows us to offer improved patient care, advanced technology  and greater convenience for the medical needs of the West Pasco community. The new hospital campus features:

  • The four-story, 56,000-square-foot Starkey Medical Tower with new private patient rooms, increasing the total number of patient beds at Morton Plant North Bay by more than 25 percent. The Starkey Medical Tower also includes a new state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit, Cardiovascular Center, medical surgical unit, new respiratory care services and community education facilities.
  • The new three-story, 45,000-square-foot Medical Arts Building is the center for outpatient care and offers an expanded four-bed sleep disorders center, outpatient lab and outpatient rehabilitation services. All patient registration services have been centralized to the Medical Arts Building, which has a covered walkway connecting it to the main hospital. The building also contains offices for primary care physicians and specialists, a new addition to the Morton Plant North Bay campus.

Morton Plant North Bay now provides advanced heart care including emergency and elective cardiac stenting for the treatment of heart attacks.

We're committed to advancing superior health care by collaborating with Magnet-caliber nurses, board-certified physicians and other highly skilled professionals. Nationally recognized for health care excellence, we've achieved Primary Stroke Center recertification by The Joint Commission and Magnet hospital recertification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
